Chers Membres de l’Ordre Mondial des Gourmets Dégustateurs

I am pleased to be elected as the new Echanson, responsible for the Swiss OMGD and I want to thank you all for your sympathy and your active participation. Together we will give the necessary significance to the OMGD within the Chaîne des Rôtisseurs.

Founded in Paris September 2nd 1963, our Order is an integral part of the Chaîne des Rôtisseurs. Its purpose is to promote the knowledge and appreciation of high end wines and liqueurs. To reach this goal, members shall be able to participate in different convivial demonstrations and tastings. It goes without saying that it is possible for members to participate in any event in Switzerland or in foreign countries with the purpose of widening the circle of friends and to deepen the knowledge related to wines and spirits of quality.

Also this year, our Vice-Echansons have - with a great engagement - planned and organized numerous and fantastic trips and demonstrations for their Bailliages. Please consult the programs in our new Internet website where you will find all related information.

Of course in order to make these events a success it is important to announce them at an early stage and properly publish and promote them through the OMGD communication channels.
