The Chaîne is hierarchically organized
Amateurs will be admitted as „Dame de la Chaîne" or as „Chevalier". The next higher rank is „Officier", attainable earliest after five years of membership.
Professionnel members' ranks depend on their function within a Chaîne establishment. A participating establishment is represented by its Director and will be admitted as „Maître". This can be as «Maître Rôtisseur», «Maître Restaurateur», «Maître Sommelier» or «Maître Hôtelier».
When a member of the Chaîne des Rôtisseurs is inducted or promoted, an appropriate ribbon denoting the new rank is awarded.
